My philosophy of care centers on partnership, education, and whole-person wellness. As a board-certified family nurse practitioner, I combine traditional medical care with integrative and regenerative medicine to help patients address root causes, restore balance, and support long-term vitality. My practice focuses on personalized care for hormone health, metabolic wellness, and aesthetic medicine — guiding patients through wellness, illness, and prevention with thoughtful, evidence-based treatment.
Throughout my career, I have worked in a variety of healthcare settings, experiences that have strengthened my commitment to improving community health and delivering thoughtful, high-quality care. I strive to be a trusted partner to patients and families, whether they're navigating illness, pursuing prevention, or investing in long-term wellness.
Outside the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our three boys — often at community events or cheering from the sidelines of a soccer field. On rare quiet evenings, you might find me working on a puzzle or, occasionally, I am able to get lost in a good book.
I am a Texas Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, FNP-C, specializing in Endocrinology and Integrative Medicine at Heal Clinic, where I help patients manage complex, chronic conditions without losing sight of the whole person behind the diagnosis.
My background spans endocrinology, reproductive endocrinology, internal medicine, and integrative health, and I care for patients across diabetes, thyroid disorders, weight management, cardiometabolic and cardiovascular health, and mental health. I'm currently completing my training as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, and I also offer aesthetic care. Across it all, my approach is the same: clear education, personalized plans with shared decision-making, and a cost-effective approach.
I practice where conventional and functional medicine meet, drawing on the strengths of both to deliver care that's as thorough as it is compassionate.
Outside the clinic, you'll usually find me traveling, camping, or off on an adventure with my husband. At home, we cook, garden, and play chess and backgammon — and music, art, and literature are lifelong passions

Kayla is trained in the laser services offered at our clinic and is sought after for her kindness, compassion, and attention to detail. From managing documentation and treatment logistics to assisting with patient communication and care coordination, she helps our team operate efficiently while upholding the highest standards of professionalism.

Her clinical knowledge allows her to confidently guide patients through scheduling, treatment prep, and post-visit questions, ensuring everyone feels informed and comfortable. Jess is a knowledgeable Medical Biller, however she is known for her warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail — making every interaction feel personal and supportive. She believes exceptional care starts the moment a patient connects with our clinic, and she is dedicated to making that experience smooth, organized, and positive every time.
